Gucci Handbags
Gucci handbags are the most famous Italian brand in the world. In 1921,Guccio Gucci started a leather goods company and a small luggage store in Florence, Italy. After years working in London's Savoy Hotel, he understood the refined tastes of English nobility, and used that knowledge to create exclusive leather goods which were produced by Tuscan artisans. Within a few years, Gucci handbags label was extremely successful, attracting a sophisticated, international clientele, who loved the fine craftsmanship of his collection of handbags, gloves, shoes, and belts. The horse bit and stirrup motifs he used became symbols of his fashion house, and of his increasingly innovative designs.
Due to the shortage of materials during the years of Fascist dictatorship in Italy, Gucci became synonymous with creativity and resourcefulness. The "Bamboo Bag" was introduced and became a favorite of royalty and celebrities; the bag is still available today. During the 1950s, his green-red green web became a successful trademark and remains one of the most familiar icons of the brand. Gucci handbags began to build a global presence.
