Brighton handbags are known for their heart logo. A silver heart dangles from every handbag, and adorns many of the products in the collection. The Brighton brand was launched in 1991 with a collection of belts. Over the years, Brighton has become an accessories company, adding handbags, followed by small leather goods, watches, footwear, fragance, jewelry, home accessories, and eyewear, as well as other leather products.
Today Brighton is the only major line that sells products that coordinate from head to toe. Customers can find lipstick cases that match wallets, earring that match a pair of sunglasses, a handbag that matches footwear, or an entire collection. Each piece is a unique design.
Brighton products are available in nearly 6,000 specialty stores nationwide and 50 Brighton stores. President Jerry Kohl's philosophy is to do business only with stores that offer excellent customer service, so Brighton products are no sold in department stores or on the Internet. Brighton is a division of Leegin Creative Leather Products, which is based in the City of Industry, California.
